Amanda Dahlman has over 20 years of riding, showing and training experience. She graduated from the NJC Equine Management and Colt Starting program in 2003 and has competed in Western, English and Reining events.
Whether it’s training Quarter Horses and Paint Horses for showing in AQHA or APHA in Western and English disciplines including Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Trail, Western Riding, Hunter Under Saddle and Equitation; In-Hand events including Halter and Showmanship; or for just having a calm and safe trail horse, Amanda teaches horses of all breeds the same basic skills.
Amanda practices a patient and subtle method which she beleives produces success with all ages and types of horses and their riders, at all levels, in nearly all disciplines. Once the foundation is built for the horse and then the rider, the partnership can do practically anything!
Amanda is excited to now be offering training for horses and their people at Andersen Farms. From putting the first 30 days on your colt to tuning up your backyard friend, she would love to talk to you further about helping with any of your training needs.
